Midthunder is born in New Shiprock Mexico. She is a member of the Assiniboine tribe of Fort Peck. She spent most of her childhood living in Santa Fe where her mother was employed at a casting firm and attended the Academy for Technology and the Classics. Amber has Native American ancestry on her father's side. Both members are of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber has been born to an adoptive mother which means that Amber does not have any known mixed ancestry. Prey features a largely Native American cast, including Dakota Beavers as Naru's brother and Jhane Meyers, who played Comanche and Blackfeet and provided extensive advice to the production. Because of the time that the film is set, it was not an option to cast any dog. Coco is an adorable and adorable dog actress. She is Sarii. Her breed was American Dingo, a rare, threatened species. It is one the oldest breeds of dogs, also known by its other designation, Carolina Dog.
The narration of TJ throughout the film is centered on Amanda, and some may refer to his daughter.
